Vito allows you to create a public page for your hub and sell access using Stripe checkout. However, if you've already sold access using Tito or a different registration tool (or you simply want to send out invites by email), you can add participants manually.
💡 Tip: Adding a participant gives them instant access to the hub, so you should only invite folks who have already paid or who you wish to grant access for free.
Adding a participant individually
Inviting individual people can be done from inside the hub. On desktop, you need to click on the icon that looks like a person with a + symbol next to it, found in the top-right corner. On mobile, you need to expand the left-hand sidebar and you'll see a menu item called Invite a participant.
In either case, a modal will open (see the screenshot below) with three fields. Only the email address is required, but you can also include the person's name and a salutation for how you want to address them in the email. If you leave this blank, it will simply say "Hi there".
Click Invite to send the invitation. The recipient will be sent an instant access link to your hub. (See this article for instructions to customize the invite text).
Adding participants in bulk
Inviting people in bulk requires you to head to the admin pane, and then navigate to Participants under the Access tab.
Click on the Import button and select whether you'd like to upload a CSV file or paste in the data. Either method will provide you with some sample data to show you the correct format. You can also download a template CSV if you wish.
Drop in your CSV file or click to browse (or paste your data in if you selected this option), and click Next.
You'll be shown a preview table of the data so that you can check it over before sending the invites. Please note that duplicate email addresses will be skipped over. When you're ready, click next.
Finally, you'll be shown a sample email with a message letting you know how many recipients it will be sent to. Click to confirm and send emails when you're ready. (See this article for instructions to customize the invite text).
