How do I ban or restrict a participant?

Use Vito's moderator tools to remove a participant from a hub or stop them from posting

Vito makes it possible for collaborators to take action against participants who violate your hub's rules or code of conduct. You can either:

  • Ban them to prevent them from being able to access any content in your hub, or

  • Restrict them to allow them to remain in the hub but not be able to post to the discussion feed or reply to others' posts

There are two places to do this.

From within the hub

Click on the kebab menu (⁝) on the right of a Participant record (either on the People screen or from their individual Profile) to reveal admin options in the drop-down menu:

πŸ’‘ Tip: To remove a ban or restriction, you'll need to head to the admin pane (see below).

From the admin pane

Open the admin pane and navigate to the Participants view. Click into the relevant person's record and select Ban or Restrict from there:

You can also remove a ban from here:
