This article explains more about the overview page and the all posts page. It refers to collaborators, participants and visitors. To learn more about these roles, read about permissions and visibility in Vito.

Overview page

By default, collaborators start on the overview page when creating or editing a hub. Participants can’t see this page.

The overview page contains a summary of your hub’s contents: online participants, livestream channels, posts, videos, events and cards. Initially, most of these will say 0 (zero) at first, but we’ll keep a count as your hub gets busier and things begin to get interesting!

We also have a quick action box with 3 (totally optional) tasks for you to complete. We’ll check them off for you automatically as you go.

Scroll down further and you’ll see a host of shortcuts to get you started in sharing posts, uploading content, creating events, managing cards and pages, and adding people. You can also take many of these actions from the hub sidebar, or the dropdown menu next to your hub name.

All posts page

For participants (and visitors if permitted), the default hub homepage is a list of all posts. See this article for information about how discussions work in Vito.

Want a different homepage?

If you prefer, you can also create a custom page and set this as your hub’s default homepage. Click on the kebab menu (⁝) in the top-right of your custom page and then on Set as homepage. Read more about customizing pages in Vito.
